Update and more...

Grandpa and Grandma,

Im buddy, and Im growing vegtables...

Daddy built the green house...

Im Buddy and I am growing vegtables, enough for everyone...

So he said it all....Warren has taken it upon himself to grow food...lots of food. He has tomatoes and onions, lettuce, and carrots, strawberries and grapes, pumpkins, cucumbers and green beans...plus pop corn which is where it all began. The boy has a green thumb and never forgets his "sproots". They are sung to daily, watered as needed and he will even naps with them when they feel "lonley". So I asked him the other day what we were going to do with all these plants..

"We are gonna share em and eat em mama"....
"What about when we go camping, who will care for them?" I asked
"We will take them grandma, she has a big garden." Was his reply.

So with my abundance of "salad" that is being grown in my basement I am thinking that if it is ok with mom and dad....we will plant the garden this year...Warren has plenty for all who want to can tomatoes all fall...

So dad...can we pull that garden together? So my little man can take care of his "sproots" all summer too?

Now on to my oldest son....Josh was promoted yesterday...he is now a first class petty officer and proud of it...his goal is to be leading his own platoon sometime in the near future...and at this time is considering a life time career in the US Army....

Congratulations Josh, the way to go and you are in our fondest thoughts and prayers. Hey, we may have a budding farmer in our midst, "Farmer Buddy", love your interior greenhouse and what a great way to push spring forward. Might want Farmer Buddy teaming up with his Uncle John and Aunt Heidi so they can compare crop analysis data as well as forming a co-op so they can get some stimulus funding as well as other federal handouts for not growing certain crops and of course those that illegal to grow. WE can accommodate a garden, surely out of 18 acres we can find a spot. My "hot house" and raised garden area has been converted to a berry farm. However, I happen to have a raised spot right outside of the berry patch that is semi raised, lined and ready to be spaded for conversion into a garden. It was the potato patch converted to a pumpkin patch for Heather and Hunter. Has not been used in 2-3 years so it can be put to good use as soon as we reclaim it from the native weeds that have adapted to the rich, loam soils. It can also be easily converted to a temporary greenhouse.

The way the term "illegal" was used, one would think you have not read our state's constitution...
We could start our own organic farm outlet if we co-op'ed as long as we stay away from GM (genetically manufactured) product.
First Class Petty Officer?!
That is quicker promotion than Home Depot!
