New Home for Thelma and Ralphy

Melissa and Warren would like you to meet Thelma and Ralphy...the two newest members to reside in the Buffalo Wallow. A gift from Anna I first was very leery of...but now...everyone should have a turtle or two...these little guys have personalities of their own. Curiosity that they will go to many different lengths to solve...just plain we thought they deserved a bigger and better habbitat...with global warming and all mother nature assisted us in this adventure...

As the day went on the lake grew bigger larger...a small raft was needed to carry the dogs to the other side of it....then we discovered the snow on the upside of the yard was hiding the water that would not fit in the basement....
>();} {}"

So due to the uncontrollable temps in alaska and the need for the turtles to have a warm enviroment...we have decided to convert the down stairs to Baxter Bog....our own version....and the turtles will have an indoor and an outdoor place to play...

Now how were the names "Thelma" and "Ralphy" chosen? It is wet out there, you should see the HITW, the kids would have a ball on it right now, slick clean ice covering the entire area. They could even skate Bronco Lane and have a few moguls to jump. Come summer, Thelma and Ralphy should feel right at home in lower Kroc Lake, just don't let the Kroc get them.

You could get the turtles acclimated to the yard, but I recommend bottle the liquid to sell to Texans as "Alaskan Back Forty Tea".

Turtles do not count in the ugly fish contest - but two very good candidates.

You know, these turtles have not moved since January 16th. I have been waiting for the video to download. today is February 20th, wow, where has this month went? But the video still has not fully down loaded. I will be patient.
