Big is Better Right??

Not a long blog today got a huge flag to twist...started out my day yesterday blowing up balloons for it. I am twisting at the coming home party for the USA womens hockey team goalie in Eagle River...for those that dont follow hockey they took the bronz. So my flag started out to be big...i was figuring 6 x 5 maybe...well...I have never been much good with "sizing" so now my flag is going to be more like 12 x 10. okay so it doubled in size...it is turning out very well....Anna and I even figured out how to make "ol' Glory" wave like shes blowing in the wind....it will be awsome...problem now is....how do I get it to Eagle River????

Congratulations on your project and I was more than happy to provide you all the information pertaining to the symbol of our great nation and the historic value on the design of the flag, it is just to bad you did not have a reliable source closer to you in Anchorage to save yourself a long distance call. You could have called a Girl Scout Leader, I am sure they give classes on this. As to the transportation to Eagle River. Shana, I do not know anything about twisting, I never was a very good dancer, but baloons I do know. They are filled with air, noramlly oxygen but you can fill them with other gasses that will alter your speech and make your head feel so goooooodd! If you noticed, baloons always have a string attached to them, if not they float away and gone forever. To transport the baloon to Eagle River, might I sugest you tie a string to it, tie it to your car and drive slowly down the Glenn Highway, it is only 12 miles!

She should be on the news tonight and she did call me ...and I told her to look it up online under "USA Flag"...like a good parent making her do her own homework. :)
Want to test my flag facts dad?

Shana sorry I always talk to him...congratulations on the media coverage. I do love you to.

How did you like my double clutch on my pasting, as in our conversatio the other night - it is those silly letter codes that we have to type in! Heidi, pertaining tothe facts of the flag, by now you have studied up on it so I will ask you one question only, what do the two holes on the left side ofthe flag represent?
