Our Day at Bird Point....

After listening to the sermon today with the sun beckoning us to come out and play...we packed our lunch...rearranged the seats in the Yukon and began our exploration for spring. We did not find a lot of "green" but we did find a wonderful WIND FREE Turnagain Arm. Bird Point had to be 70...with out a breeze it felt like we should just lay in the sun and nap...

But instead we took a hike had a picnic and played on the cliffs and trees. A wonderful playground both Baxter babes proved to be "little mountain goats."

I could not help but remember the last time we went out there...Melissa was just 6days old and I wore her under my coat. It was windy and cold, but still a wonderful adventure.

The bears must be awake as the goats were seen but HIGH up on the cliffs where nothing but the eagles could get them. We missed the whale pod by twenty minutes as the tide was going out. A bore tide was possible at nine tonight...but we did not feel the need to wait. A wonderful time was had by all and darn it neither kid sleeps anymore on a car ride....lol.

Nice set of pics, well-played slide show, and it's good to see someone else blogs besides me. Where is everyone else?
The wind was up when we rolled thru' Turnagain around 7 pm. You timed the outing right.
I only hope the bear got tired of using your camper for his nap zone. It WAS locked, but apparently, he had a key. It does look as if you have some clean up to do over his wild parties.
